Hon. Finance Minister, Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman in her Budget Speech 2023-24 Commonly referred to as Amrit Kaal Budget announced Mahila Samman Bachat Patra (Mahila Samman Saving Certificate),a savings scheme launched to encourage women to save money and become financially independent.
The Mahila Samman Bachat Patra Yojana 2023 offers several benefits such as attractive interest rates, easy access to funds, and tax benefits. Under the scheme, women or girl can invest up to maximum Rs. 2 Lakh for 2 Years at a fixed Interest Rate of 7.5% p.a.
